Tom Lemke has been making custom footwear for Canadians for over 30 years.
Tom became a Certified Pedorthic Master Craftsman in 1996, and a few years later in 2003 he started his own orthopedic, orthotic and pedorthic practice: The Foot Lab. Located in Edmonton, Alberta, The Foot Lab serves clients from Grande Prairie to Nova Scotia and beyond.
The Foot Lab works with AADL, WCB, (F)NIHB, private medical insurance companies, doctors and specialists to make your custom orthopedic footwear, insoles, inserts and custom-made shoes. As well as working with First Nations clients through indigenous health centres, The Foot Lab supplies Canada’s soldiers with custom-made boots.
I really do love my job.The Certified Pedorthic Master Craftsman is a certification there are only six of in North America. Having said that, I can honestly say you’re in good hands at The Foot Lab.

- relieve foot, leg, or back pain from walking and standing
- walk more naturally with differently-sized legs or a partial or full amputation
